No outdoor area to enjoy. Long walk to nearest beach on a very busy road. Home was very clean but generic. We could have been anywhere, since there was no patio or garden. No books or games. Home was well maintained but didn’t offer an island experience. 2 out of 5 stars

Pleasant Stay at Hale Lo'i

We had a wonderful 3 week stay. The cottage had all the amenities (kitchen & washer/dryer etc) expected and it was clean and well maintained. It was in a quiet community situated in an excellent location close to Poipu beach and the restaurants & shops in Koloa. It was a bonus that the cottage had beach chairs which we used a number of times for our beach excursions. The Kiahuna Golf club was very close by and it was easy to book a time and play at the reduced twilight rate. The only improvements would be to have a BBQ available and a lanai/patio area. Also the checkin experience late at night could be better. At night the area is pitch black so eventhough we were prepared with flashlights and used Google maps it was difficult to spot the cottage's address. Maybe a more prominent white address would help? We would definitely look forward to coming again. 5 out of 5 stars

I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing to say about Hale Lo’i Cottage. Clean and new . Pictures tell the story. Very quiet and comfortable. The previous comments about the bed are accurate as well. Very comfy ! We forgot to leave the garage door clicker as we had it on the visor of our rental car when we departed. Wailani (Keith?) gave us a call asking about it. When we realized it was too late , he was so gracious and forgiving. I wanted to make it right but he said not to worry about it. They would take care of it. Small gesture but big impression. Thank you and Aloha ! My wife and I loved our stay there. 5 out of 5 stars

We were very happy with the stay. It was just my wife and I, with no kids. Great space. Everything was clean and new, almost like staying in a model home beach house. The bedding was perfect; comfortable and soft. Quiet, clean neighborhood near Poipu beach and shopping. Would highly recommend it for the south shore adventures. We stayed half the week on the south shore at this house , then moved up to the North shore for the second half of the week. 5 out of 5 stars
