We were a party of 13 and rented both houses - lots of space. 2 very nice pools, especially the larger pool/jacuzzi a the large house. We were a party of 9 adults and 4 children. We did our best to abide by the noise curfews (although we did try one of the neighbors - very sorry for that). The location is perfect for beach going, going on excursions, close to grocery stores and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet and there is a nice walk thru the neighborhood and along the golf course. The kitchen in the main house is large and open and perfect for cooking group dinners etc. All in all a wonderful stay we would definitely rent the houses again. 5 out of 5 stars

An idyllic spacious retreat

We were the inaugural quests in this rental property. The ocean views are breathtaking. Palm trees, tropical flowers and dramatic mountain peaks silhouette the house. The sound of a waterfall cascading into the adjacent pool enhances this spectacular setting. In our case, we are two families of longtime friends, and our goal was to provide an enticing destination that would attract (okay, bribe) our adult kids into using precious time-off to join us for a getaway. Previewing the gorgeous property images certainly helped seal the deal, and we are happy to report that our actual stay exceeded every expectation. Hailing from seven different cities and five different states, we’ve managed to come together for a memory-making vacation packed with adventure and much-needed relaxation. Here are some takeaways and highlights: The house has a superior layout with high-quality finishes and sophisticated home systems. It is well-sited with the ocean to the south and mountains to the north. Views from the great room and decks are panoramic. Floor plan is open and spacious. The eight generously-sized en-suite bedrooms easily accommodated our two families. With additional office space, patio seating, big tables and countertops, there are all kinds of scenic nooks and sitting areas. Wailani Kauai team was kind, responsive and thoughtful. This is a five-star experience. We hope to come back very soon! 5 out of 5 stars
